HSP are excited to introduce the latest innovation in blue cheese production, the HSP9000.
The HSP9000 (High-Speed Piercer) is an innovative patent-pending blue cheese piercer designed, developed and manufactured by our parent company,Alway Loughborough.
The HSP9000 offers an industry-leading solution for blue cheese production, using second-generation full servo drive systems. This technology is used to pierce the cheese, starting the oxygenation process and developing the mould required to give blue cheese its characteristic flavour and texture. Piercing cheese in this manner allows for better consistency and higher standards of flavour and texture as mould grows deeper in the cheese.
The HSP9000 offers efficiency whilst maintaining quality by processing up to 8,000 full cheeses per day. This innovative piece of machinery is available internationally through our dedicated transport, installation and training solutions, meaning more blue cheese manufacturers can access the financial and operational improvements that the HSP9000 provides.
